From the Mailbox Committee:
Today you will be receiving an application and FAQ’s through Town Square for the mailbox upgrade coming later this Fall. We will be replacing the existing boxes with 295 new letter boxes and 32 parcel boxes that will be installed via USPS requirements. Should you be interested in a letter box assignment priority will be as follows: 1) Existing box holders 2) Full- time WVE NH residents and part-time residents who reside in WVE multiple months in a row (i.e. snowbirds) 3) Part-time residents on a first come first served basis. There will be no exceptions to this priority.
If you are interested in a letter box you need get your application in via Town Square. There are directions on how to do this in the Town Square message, as well as FAQs you should read.
The mailbox committee is made up of volunteers who work directly with the WEA BOD. This project is being completed to USPS requirements and the process is involved, especially the assignment and onboarding process.
