Waterville Estates Village District General Manager Announcement – July 1, 2021

Corey Smith, General Manager Waterville Estates Village District, will be on leave for a minimum of four weeks effective immediately. In order to keep the operations of the District running smoothly during Mr. Smith’s absence, John Scruton of Municipal Resources, Inc. will provide Interim General Manager services in partnership with our Assistant General Manager, Judy Kinney. Mr. Scruton is familiar with the Village District through recent consulting work leading up to our Annual Meeting. Mr. Scruton will be on site two to three days per week, which may vary from week to week, and work the balance of the week remotely. Mr. Scruton will be responsible for furthering Village District projects that have been identified by the Annual Meeting, and recent Commissioner direction. Ms. Kinney will be responsible for ensuring that recreation activities planned for the summer will run uninterrupted, and interaction with the Association for same. Please continue to support our dedicated staff during this transitional period.
